Apple is introducing the new iPhone SE, iPad Air and more hardware products; At the same time, services such as Spotify, discord and wikipedia are facing instabilities and were down. The crash started this Tuesday (8) around 15:00, Brasília time, and could involve Cloudflare.

Spotify crashed and doesn’t work
On DownDetector, users in Brazil complain that the Spotify stopped working today. “The app has unexpectedly logged out of my account while playing a song and will not log back in”, explains one of the comments. “My app has automatically logged out and I can’t log into my account again,” says another.
On the desktop, the following message appears: “The username or password is incorrect. (Error code: %0%)”. I also encountered the following warning: “Maybe a firewall is blocking Spotify”, but the problem is not with my computer. It is worth noting that the flaw affects users worldwide.
For now, there is no way to reconnect to Spotify: it is necessary to wait for the service to resolve the bug and return to the air. Of course, you can also take a look at competitors like Apple Music – which I’ve been using since January – or Deezer.

Discord and others are down
There are already more than 50 thousand complaints about the discord in DownDetector. Over here, the computer program is trying to install an update, but without success. The mobile app, in turn, does not load the messages.
The Discord status site states that there has been an increase in the API failure rate and push error rate. The page explained at 15:29:
“…a new issue has occurred causing a major API outage. The on-call engineering team is working to correct this situation.”
At 15:59, we had a new update:
“The on-call engineering team continues to investigate the main reason for this issue. We have activated our partners and are preparing contingencies to restore service.”

THE wikipediain turn, displays the error message “503 Service Unavailable” when we try to access it, and DownDetector shows that this affects users all over the world.
Here, it is more clearly an instability: the volume of complaints has risen and fallen over the past few hours, suggesting that access might work – but only sometimes.

Problems with Cloudflare?
Discord users say that when trying to log in, they get the warning: “There may be a service issue with Cloudflare, please try again”.
According to Cloudflare’s status page, all systems are working normally now. However, of the 226 internet points that the company manages around the world, 33 (or 15%) underwent route changes – including the Brazilian cities Rio de Janeiro, Sorocaba (SP) and Caçador (SC).

Facebook login gives error abroad
In the US, Facebook Login stopped working for several users, affecting services such as GoodReads, StockX, Kayak and Spotify (even if the latter is already having problems of its own). According to one of the reports by DownDetector, this error message appears:
“Facebook is down for necessary maintenance right now, but you can come back in a few minutes… Thank you for your patience as we improve the site.”
In Brazil, Facebook login seems to have no problems.
