How to Delete/remove a bot from Discord Server Voice Channel
To remove a bot from Discord, you need to be the owner or have admin privileges on the server. Bots can be added or removed at any time, but before you start “automating” your channel, always remember to check the bot’s access permissions before adding it.
Your server bots are managed in the “Integrations” area under “Settings”. There, you can check which bots and apps have been added to the server, which channels they are participating in, and which permissions they have access to. It is also in the integrations that you have the option to remove the bot. For that:
- Click on the server name;
- In the menu, click on “Config. of Server”;
- Click on “Integrations”;
- The screen with all the bots, apps and webhooks created on the server in question will be displayed;
- In the list of bots, click “Manage” next to the bot you want to remove;
- Scroll down and click on “Remove Integration”;
- Confirm by clicking on “Remove Integration”.
The option to remove a Discord bot via “Integrations” is only available in the desktop and web versions. On mobile, server, and channel settings are limited.
Since bots are recognized on Discord as regular users, a faster alternative is to simply kick or ban the bot from the server.
On the desktop, right-click on the bot name and select “Kick ” or “Ban ”. On mobile, tap and hold the robot’s name and choose “Kick” or “Ban”.
This way the integration is also removed automatically, but you also need to have admin privileges or be the server owner. You can re-add the removed bot at any time.
